The year 2099 marked a turning point — the discovery of the Jewel of Creation (JOC) Crystal reshaped the world.

The rise of Super AGI ushered in a new era of technology and energy, enabling humanity to unearth JOC from deep beneath the earth.

At first, JOC was celebrated as a miracle that revolutionized human civilization, elevating every field from quantum computing, nanotechnology, synthetic biology to energy production. However, the refinement of JOC unleashed ecological catastrophe: oceans acidified, skies darkened, and ecosystems collapsed worldwide.

Amid this crisis, three mega-corporations emerged, seizing control of JOC’s extraction and distribution while dominating both politics and military power. They built the Arcologies — sealed dome cities for the elite — while the rest of the world decayed into chaos, toxicity, and danger, becoming the wastelands known as The Ruins.

This divide deepened the global social fracture, widening the gap between the privileged and the forsaken.
